A painful day for New York fans

Unbelievable...simply unbelievable. The Yankees loss (I have been to several Yankess Spring Trainings in Fort Lauderdale. I'm a real fan) was easier to see coming. They had been outplayed in the series and the loss was almost a foregone conclusion in the 9th.

The Cowboys/Bills game was a completely different matter. This was payback for two HUMILIATING defeats at the hands of the Cowboys in the 90's. The entire game, with each successive Romo interception, was a lock for my Bills. There was no way to lose it. Save, of course, for my Bills, whose defense managed to hand the game right back to the Cowboys. To make matters worse, we were watching at our local indoor soccer field bar on their satellite TV's. Right when everything started going crazy with the review of a play after the Cowboys spiked the ball on the NEXT play, the field goal attempt (we lost signal and then it came back to say the score was 28/24 and we thought there had been a fake on the snap and they scored the touchdown). Then it went out again and we see them re-kicking the ball from 53 yards out. Then the crowd goes wild as the TV's go out again. Before we lost signal, I saw that a flag was on the play. Then when the signal came back, it was too clear the Bills had snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, again.
